Who We Are…

Miller Products and Supply is a family tradition, begun by my grandfather after WWII when work at the Ford Motor Company’s Kingsford plant was winding down.  My Grandpa George began a small contracting company with his single-axle dump truck, and within 10 years, his three sons joined him, and the company became Fayas & Sons.  This company operated gravels pits, performed general excavation, and began an asphalt pavement division.  The acquisition of Twin City Concrete led to providing ready-mix concrete.  Miller Products and Supply was purchased in 1983, adding to my family involvement in the construction industry. In the 1990s, my father turned his focus completely to Miller Products when his brothers retired and sold the other operations.

The construction supply industry has experienced significant consolidation within the past 20 years as independent companies such as Miller Products are bought up and become part of large conglomerates. These large companies have buying power, but they lack the most important thing a construction supplier must provide – good, competent service.  I aim to employ sales professionals who are knowledgeable, attentive, and get the job done for our customers.  I am proud that my staff knows our customers by name; I encourage my staff to build good working relationships with our customers.  I consider it the ultimate success when a customer trusts us to get the job done for them. - Ryan J.
